FloteFest Invitation to Volunteers, Vendors and Sponsors

by | Feb 7, 2022 | Flote Fest 2022, Flote News | 0 comments

In case you missed it, we recently announced the dates for FloteFest 2022… our five day festival on 100+ beautiful acres of private farmland in the lovely town of Gause, Texas.

Although it’s cold and a bit snowy out in central Texas at the moment, it will be spring soon and the Flote team is hard at work making plans for our event. We’ve got an exciting line-up of speakers and performers that we’re putting together (more info on that later) but for now we’d like to extend an invitation to companies and individuals to volunteer, vend and sponsor the event!

This year we’re expecting about 400 attendees which means we’ll be needing a few people to help keep things organized. Some of the tasks may not be too glamorous… such as garbage detail or minding the gate… but we promise that when you’re part of a real and meaningful community, even the simplest of tasks are deeply rewarding.

And if you have unique skills such as nursing, EMT or child care, we really want to talk to you. There weren’t any injuries to speak of last year (just one cut finger!) but we will be expecting a number of guests to bring their children and would love to have your help keeping them safe and busy during the day.

Please reach out to our volunteer coordinator lindsey@flote.app or sign up as a volunteer on the FloteFest.com website and let us know how much time you can contribute. We’ll hook you up with a VIP pass for every day you volunteer 4 hours or more which gets you merch discounts, access to our VIP bar and more!

Everyone can be a vendor at FloteFest! It’s free… no vendor fee, no percentage, no “pay us for a good spot” and no interference. So long as your product or service is legal in the Great State of Texas and under US law, you’re free to be about your business.

We might suggest you group up with other vendors in our “agorist alley” at the top of the hill, though, but only if it suits you and only if you feel it would help increase your traffic by being close together with other vendors. Spots in the agorist alley are available on a first-come basis and you’re totally free to set up shop at your campsite too.

There’s no need to sign up as a vendor, but if you do want to coordinate something with us, we’d love to hear from you… particularly if you’re bringing coffee or food items!

If you’re interested in a bit more high-profile experience for your company or brand at FloteFest, we would be honored if you’d choose to sponsor the event. Last year we had some fantastic sponsors and we’re looking forward to working with you again this year.

We have sponsorship levels starting at $1000 and going up to $4000, or you can name your own level and let’s do something really impressive. Sponsorship dollars will go toward infrastructure support for the event and toward land use remediation to make up for our footprints and tire tracks. To join up as a sponsor, please reach out to erin@flote.app and let us know what you’re thinking.

Our FloteFest.com site is up and ready to provide you with all the information you’ll need including a contact form for signing up to be a volunteer, vendor or sponsor and, of course, for information about how to get your vehicle pass and VIP access tickets. Speakers and performers are signing up already so check out the site to see who’s going to be on the agenda and to get your tickets now!

We’ll see you in Gause in April. It’s time to be free.
